What is Niacinamide?

Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin from the vitamin B complex used primarily in serums. Due to its neutral ph, it is beneficial with multiple actions for all skin types.
It improves the function of the skin barrier and stimulates the production of ceramides which are the main moisturizing component of the epidermal barrier. It retains water in the epidermis and prevents its evaporation. It has an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect, making it suitable for acne-prone skin. At the same time, its use reduces the size of the pores. It gives radiance to the face and acts against discoloration, as it blocks the overproduction of melanocytes. Thus, it not only corrects them but also acts as a preventive measure, to prevent them from forming.
Results from data analyzes after using niacinamide revealed reductions in fine lines, spots and improved skin elasticity.
Long-term use of niacinamide, regardless of skin type, paves the way for new skin cells, making the skin healthier, brighter, and hydrated.
According to clinical trials, topical treatment of niacinamide, alone or in combination with other active ingredients, reduces the progression of skin aging.
Skin4sin has invested in this active ingredient in its new enhanced facial serum Balance Restore, Niacinamide, Neurophroline. It treats discoloration and unevenness of the skin, making it smooth and restoring its natural color tone. At the same time, it restores the skin's lost glow and prevents premature signs of aging.
