A Big Chapter!
"I want to get a day cream but don't know what my skin type is, what should I do?"
Can we find our own skin type?
The answer is YES!
By following the steps below we can have an idea of our skin type ourselves!
Step 1
First and foremost, to make a skin type diagnosis at home, we need:
- Adequate natural lighting!
- A mirror!
- Clear skin!
- Pen and paper!
Step 2
We thoroughly cleanse our face. Careful! We do not peel! Peeling changes the skin pH and this may alter our results.
Step 3
We then answer the following quiz by choosing A. B. C. or D.
Step 4
If we have more A answers, our skin type is probably oily
If we have more B answers, our skin type is probably dry
If we have more C answers, our skin type is a combined one
If we have more D answers, we belong to the lucky ones with normal skin
How about we start???

- During the day, my skin:
- Is shiny and feels oily when I touch it
- Is never shiny, instead I often feel (depending on the weather) that I need a face cream

- None of the above...all is good!
- On my skin, I notice:
- Frequent black spots or even pimples in various areas
- Almost nothing. It is slightly translucent and some veins are visible in certain areas. But it is smooth and clean.
- Black spots or pimples in specific areas only
- Nothing at all! It's clean and smooth!
- If I slightly pinch my cheek, I realize that:
- My skin is thick
